The Burnett River at Bundaberg, Queensland is a busy waterway with many boats of various types and sizes coming and going all the time. The river runs parallel to the city’s CBD. And yet, except when it floods, the river usually seems quite peaceful and sedate, with the water flowing slowly to the sea. Especially in the mornings.
These days, many of the boaties and trawler crews use very brightly coloured Polycraft tenders to get from boat to shore and back again. These little tender boats really pop against the more subdued colours of the river water and are fun to photograph.
